League Format
Weekly matchups between two 3-person teams
9 holes per week
Multiple points available per matchup:
Individual Points: Points for each individual heads-up match
Players are paired by handicap: lowest vs. lowest, middle vs. middle, highest vs. highest
Team Points: Awarded to the team with the lowest net total score
Net score = actual score minus handicap
Week 1: Handicap establishment (no points awarded)
Weeks 2–9: Regular team matches – 9 Different Courses(Front or Back)
Weeks 10–11: Playoffs
Top 4 teams after Week 10 qualify
#1 seed plays #4 seed, #2 seed plays #3 seed
All players still golf during playoff weeks, even if their team isn’t in the playoffs. There may be skins, tournaments, and other available competitions
FAQs
What if a player can’t attend a league night?
Option 1: Pre-Play
Play your round before your scheduled league night (no post-play allowed)
Pre-play simulator rental discounts: $5 off 30 minutes, $10 off 60 minutes
Option 2: Substitute Player
Subs can rent a simulator before league night and play 9 holes on a designated course to establish a handicap. If a sub doesn’t establish a handicap beforehand, they play with a zero handicap for that night
Are there prizes?
Yes — each player on the winning team receives a prize (to be determined)
Which tees do we use?
Men: White tees
Women: Red tees
What is the “gimme” putt length?
7 feet and closer
How are handicaps tracked?
Using the Golf League Guru app
After Week 1, all players will receive a link to download the app for free. The app will track handicaps, matchups, personal stats, and standings

Kegan Riley
PGA Teaching Professional
Kegan works with golfers of all ages and skill levels who are ready to improve their swing, sharpen their short game and gain more confidence on the course. A standout former TN State HS championship competitor from McKenzie High School, and former member of the Jackson College golf team, Kegan brings both high-level playing experience and expert instruction to every lesson. He is a Level 1 PGA Instructor, a certified Personal Coach, and is also a Master Club Fitter. With multiple students advancing to play D1 Golf and play in the NAIA, Kegan has a proven track record of helping players reach their goals and enjoy the game more than ever. Kegan actively competes in various PGA section events to sharpen his skills on the course.

Absolutely! Our goal is to encourage new players to the game. Please advise when you book that you are a beginner and we can arrange to spend a little extra time with you. You can also book your first time at an X-Golf with a PGA teaching professional to go through the fundamentals of holding clubs to the basic swing.
Yes, we encourage players to bring their own clubs, though rental clubs are available.
The fee is for the simulator time, regardless of how many people are playing and it is not per person. Each individual can finish 18 holes in about one hour (or two people can play 9 holes each in about one hour). If you add more people it will take 1 hour per person added to play 18 holes.
No need, the simulator has its own tee built into the system…plus it collects and tees the balls automatically.
Yes, all locations have rentals. Check with your preferred location on pricing.
Yes. We welcome children of all ages.
Generally it takes 1 hour for an individual player to play 18 holes. If you have more than one player you may want to book an additional hour for each player in your group, but skill level can have an effect on pace of play.
Booking a tee time is highly recommended either online or calling your preferred location. Most X-Golf locations frequently sell out during busy times/weekends.
Gift cards are available and can be purchased at the preferred location or digitally online.
Golf shoes with soft spikes only are allowed (please make sure they are clean) but tennis shoes work great on the artificial turf, as well.
No we supply the golf balls and the automatic tee system.
It is artificial turf and carpet.
