Meet the PGA Teaching Professional at X-Golf Woodbury, Kyle Thul

Kyle is a native of Blaine, Minnesota and has been a Class A Member of the PGA of America since 2018. He first turned Professional in 2013. Kyle has been around golf his entire working life, starting at Bunker Hills Golf Club in Coon Rapids and then transitioning to the 1st assistant position at Stillwater CC for 7 years. Kyle spent this last year working at Optimal Performance Golf (Indoor Golf Simulator Facility, Maple Grove MN) as a Teaching Professional. While at OPG and Stillwater CC both private lessons and junior golf camps were taught by Kyle.

Kyle enjoys sharing his passion for golf by making the game more enjoyable for all skill levels. Strong communication and creating a relaxed lesson environment has helped students achieve their personalized golfing goals more effectively. Private lessons are tailored to the individuals needs and preferences to allow for maximum improvement. All aspects of the game are evaluated to allow for individuals to shoot the lowest scores possible. Teaching solid fundamentals, along with his enthusiasm for helping golfers improve are Kyle’s coaching strengths.

Kyle attended the University of Minnesota State Mankato, where he competed collegiately at the Division ll level. During Kyle’s 9 year professional golf career he has claimed 2 professional victories in the MN PGA Section and has also qualified and competed in the 2015 National Assistant Professional Championship in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

X-Golf National Tournament Series

BRAND NEW!!

The X-Golf National Tournament Series is a 10 event tour with a new event taking place every month.  Compete against other X-Golf players from around the country.  Each event has a great prize pack including a $3,000 cash prize for the winner of the 1st event with qualifying rounds going from October 23rd through November 6th.  The grand prize for the series champion is an all expenses paid golf trip to Cabo!

There is not an additional cost to participate in these events.  To play in the event, book a tee time at your favorite X-Golf Minnesota and let the staff know that you are there to participate in the X-Golf National Tournament Series.  They will get you set up from there.
