James Mcintosh
PGA & U.S. Kids Certified Professional
James is a PGA and U.S Kids Certified Professional out of Stratford, Connecticut. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island, James began his PGA career in the Metropolitan Section of the PGA, where he took part in running one of the top Junior Academies in New England. Over the next 10 years, James held membership in the Northern California PGA section, the South Florida PGA section, and now the Connecticut PGA section.
Having experience teaching Junior Academies and Collegiate Athletes all over the country, James has enabled his teaching style to be absorbed simply by players of all levels and ages. His unique ability to inspire motivation and sculpt player’s games led to his selection as U.S. Kids America’s Top 50 Instructors award in 2020.

Absolutely! Our goal is to encourage new players to the game. Please advise when you book that you are a beginner and we can arrange to spend a little extra time with you. You can also book your first time at an X-Golf with a PGA teaching professional to go through the fundamentals of holding clubs to the basic swing.
Yes, we encourage players to bring their own clubs, though rental clubs are available.
The fee is for the simulator time, regardless of how many people are playing and it is not per person. Each individual can finish 18 holes in about one hour (or two people can play 9 holes each in about one hour). If you add more people it will take 1 hour per person added to play 18 holes.
No need, the simulator has its own tee built into the system…plus it collects and tees the balls automatically.
Yes, all locations have rentals. Check with your preferred location on pricing.
Yes. We welcome children of all ages.
Generally it takes 1 hour for an individual player to play 18 holes. If you have more than one player you may want to book an additional hour for each player in your group, but skill level can have an effect on pace of play.
Booking a tee time is highly recommended either online or calling your preferred location. Most X-Golf locations frequently sell out during busy times/weekends.
Gift cards are available and can be purchased at the preferred location or digitally online.
Golf shoes with soft spikes only are allowed (please make sure they are clean) but tennis shoes work great on the artificial turf, as well.
No we supply the golf balls and the automatic tee system.
