Meet Our Instructors
Nick Gilliam
Nick Gilliam offers player development that encourages golf instruction tailored to the student’s desired level of personal gain. Primary focus will be on alignment, tempo and minimal adjustments to foster continued interest during growth and improvement. His background ranges from junior, college, professional and now “old man” golf. His golf accolades range from State Junior Champ, 2001 NCAA Div 1 Champion (GO GATORS!), mini tour professional journeyman (some PGA Tour experience) to avid mid-amateur competitive golf. As a golf aficionado, his interests are best served to make the game enjoyable, so the aim is to ensure your happiness with the instruction process.
Eric Thomas
Eric Thomas is a PGA Associate and experienced golf instructor with over 10 years of teaching experience working with golfers of all ages and skill levels. He also brings more than 15 years of competitive professional tournament experience, providing students with valuable insight into the technical and mental aspects of the game.
As a Callaway Staff Fitting and Equipment Specialist and a FlightScope Professional, Eric incorporates advanced launch monitor and simulator technology into his lessons to provide data-driven feedback and measurable improvement. He is currently working toward PGA Class A Membership and is committed to helping golfers improve their performance, confidence, and enjoyment of the game.

Absolutely! Our goal is to encourage new players to the game. Please advise when you book that you are a beginner and we can arrange to spend a little extra time with you. You can also book your first time at an X-Golf with a PGA teaching professional to go through the fundamentals of holding clubs to the basic swing.
Yes, we encourage players to bring their own clubs, though rental clubs are available.
The fee is for the simulator time, regardless of how many people are playing and it is not per person. Each individual can finish 18 holes in about one hour (or two people can play 9 holes each in about one hour). If you add more people it will take 1 hour per person added to play 18 holes.
No need, the simulator has its own tee built into the system…plus it collects and tees the balls automatically.
Yes, all locations have rentals. Check with your preferred location on pricing.
Yes. We welcome children of all ages.
Generally it takes 1 hour for an individual player to play 18 holes. If you have more than one player you may want to book an additional hour for each player in your group, but skill level can have an effect on pace of play.
Booking a tee time is highly recommended either online or calling your preferred location. Most X-Golf locations frequently sell out during busy times/weekends.
Gift cards are available and can be purchased at the preferred location or digitally online.
Golf shoes with soft spikes only are allowed (please make sure they are clean) but tennis shoes work great on the artificial turf, as well.
No we supply the golf balls and the automatic tee system.
